Just finished a nice ebonite Aeterna in an SEM (Schonberger Ebonite, Germany) material that has a 50% Cumberland color. It reminds me of the vintage woodgrain ebonite colors from the 30’s. The grip is extended to 28mm long and is tapered to a lip. The barrel is 13.8mm at the threads, and slighty rises up to about 14.3mm width for most of the barrel length, with a very slight taper at the end.
Today’s new pen for sale is a Medium Aeterna in British Racing Green Ebonite with Extended 28mm Grip that tapers to a lip. The Ebonite is a custom color from Nikko. Price: $220 with Steel Nib + Shipping. Edit: SOLD!!!

Hi, Everyone! It has been a long while since my last few posts, where I mentioned that I would be moving to a ready-to-ship stock-pen only business model. That time has come. Also, since my back pain has severely limited my working time on the lathe, I’ll be making pens much more slowly. I will continue to post new pens on the Recent Work and Pens for Sale pages, and will also start posting each pen here, on the home page. If you subscribe to the blog, you will get email notices of every post.
While I am not taking commissions, I’ll be happy to make a note of your requests for pens in certain materials. I have so much material on hand that it’s possible I might have what you are looking for, and I will put a pen in that material on my work list.
To start off the available pen posting, here is a Medium Zephyr in Peacock Koi. Email me if you are interested.
